The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 几千旅客因为911滞留小镇的故事。说是音乐剧改编但更像是音乐剧录像。情节简单，音乐不错。
不苦情、不沉重，大量的美式笑话让人忍俊不禁。但笑着看完，却哭着回忆，百老汇的这波美式正能量，我先干为敬。
剧本和音乐都好棒！一个很沉重的题材却一直通过场景转换来减轻大家的悲伤…加上个人的故事和小镇居民的爱心，最后看到眼睛湿润…
视角好好，希望我也在用这样的视角，用人话讲共同记忆。
第一看这种类型的音乐剧，没有经典音乐剧耳熟能详、令人心潮澎湃的唱段，也没有《汉密尔顿》《Six》那样流行得抓耳又抓眼，扣准现代大众审美，相比之下它的故事铺开得有点平淡写实，但这样的节奏和画面又并不无趣。
没条件去看现场的穷人表示这部音乐剧光是bootleg就已经超好看了，默默希望百老汇/伦敦西区音乐剧放出官摄变成常态，为了不影响档期卖票完全可以延后几年再放出来，那些超珍贵的OBC摄影只存起来真的是太可惜了~
听了无数遍album之后终于在Apple TV里看了。感动！
比想象的欢乐，虽然有些笑点没get到。基于911背景的真实故事，又是疫情期间百老汇恢复的第一次演出，现实意义远大于内容。作为一部音乐剧，感觉唱段有点少，也没有太令人印象深刻的曲子。机长的高音真是又稳又轻松，Diane那段I'm here也很棒

能支持人坚持，继续下去的，一定是关怀，各方面都很优秀的一部作品
它对这件事的表达不伤、不煽，也不那么戏剧，反而是贴近日常生活的平实温和。
简单的舞美和巧妙的设计，让每次转场都顺利又神奇。在大时代震动下的每一个小人物的故事都是如此动人。
我也好想进剧院我也好想进剧院我也好想进剧院——！所以像jamie那样拍成电影才是更好的做法，这样只会让一个月被取消三场演出的观众更加emo。
