The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不知道為什麼想到逆光那兩句歌詞。離開釋懷很短暫又重來。吾心安處是吾家，人生後半程孑然一身的在大山大海中找一個parking place，看似淒涼的context但不給予評價。如此嫻熟的調度與情緒克制的演出，好電影。
Fern驶过寂寥无依的大地，白雪覆盖的公路；注视过汹涌澎湃的大海，炽热的福玻斯神光。你以为她是自由潇洒才总在路上，但失去所爱的她悲不自胜，茕茕孑立。这片孤独的大地啊，有着一样孤独的人群和孤独的灯；孤独的房车里，困扰着成百上千孤独的灵魂。

其实情节一般，但是节奏好，拍出了一种不哀不伤的人生态度。
lovebifan：让我想起《猜火车》里的那段经典台词，生活中就是有人不想买他妈的大电视，而选择不停地在路上，看群山，看飞鸟，looking ahead, to the day you die.
没看出有什么特别的深意，只是一个寻常人的寻常故事吧
如同读一首行吟诗。
像纪录片一般，跟随着科恩嫂试着去理解这些现代游牧民族。不要试图用理性去解构他们的动机，选择游牧本身就充满了浪漫。大自然和同胞的友情是对伤痛最好的治愈。

拓荒者与游牧民都是无地可依的人群，前者代表着开拓、积极，后者则是流浪、悲观，就像西部片与这部电影的区别，西部片赞扬的是无畏的英雄，《无依之地》悲悯的是无地的普通人，前者反映了伟大国度的崛起，后者则是美利坚日薄西山的见证。
气氛镜头和音乐的堆砌没有很有效地展示人物的内心世界。前半段描绘美国nomad people的生活处境，后半段表现女主尝试却无法与世界重新产生连接的孤独。结尾把流浪归因为一段曾经沧海难为水的关系是否可信？（这样的关系必然存在，但是否在影片里得到足够扎实的刻画？）
