The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 纯剧本层面只能三星半，歌曲与现实的变换很有想法，但也没那么惊艳，是音乐剧与电影形式的巧妙交互
背后的故事比电影本身更感人。最喜欢的歌也是为女孩写的那首。

用处理舞台剧的手法来拍电影，连带着加菲也用夸张式的舞台剧状态来表演，能感受到努力但也觉得有些用力过猛，基本也是全片观感的缩影。剧中剧的模式其实有些节奏上的割裂，尤其在于主线落脚点找不准状况下；稍微了解一下背景能被Jonathan的事迹打动，但片子内呈现的效果就很cliché了。
旋转镜头的转场妙用：正脸—右转至右侧脸—继续右转至视线处—场景已然从现实转变为想象。/ 有些演员的演技有些生涩，那1s本不该直视镜头。

三代音乐剧人的交织啊，天才惜天才。知道rent的创作者很早过世但竟然是首演前一晚？这也太鲨了……看见桑爷爷别说乔纳森了，我都想哭。LMM、大姐二姐的客串好惊喜，嘻嘻。哭了27号，桑爷爷去世了……刚刚还看到一个背后故事，桑爷爷角色是Whitford演的，但老爷子看过片子之后觉得味道差点意思就修改了台词并且亲自帮忙录制了给加菲的那段话，哭了
卡着ddl写歌面临的各种窘境，有点阅历的社畜都会共情…… 加菲演得太好削弱了一些音乐剧改编的舞台感，双线音乐会结构LMM掌控得也不错，游泳池的设计蛮绝
