The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 实在对短剧喜欢不起来，大多数就是靠一个设定做戏，一味地追求快节奏，爽感，喜感，人物就像漫画里走出来的，单薄，片面，刻意·····…实在不知道那些观众都喜欢它什么，因为自己工作太忙方便随便看两眼吗。
主创也很愤怒，却克制，喜剧效果比Don’t look up更出彩。影视作品是展现一个国家意识形态的播种机。
