剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     其实没有刻意的煽情，但我依然哭得泪流成河，是哭到眼泪把口罩淹没，走出电影院时一言不发的程度。电影尚且如此，不敢想象如果去年音乐剧巡演没有因为疫情取消的话（毕竟当时连downtown剧院装修都已经进入DEH模式了），我会在剧院哭成怎样一种无法言述的惨状。希望早日能进剧场痛痛快快再哭一次。

    跟原版舞台剧相比少了母爱的成分，并且把Connor Project 的举办原因直接改掉，这一改整个逻辑线直接垮掉

    【A-】没看过原版舞台剧，但是电影版所呈现的效果还是出乎意料的。除了稍显做作仓促的结尾部分以外，其余的情节还是很流畅自然的。歌曲加分极大，几个主演也贡献了相当优秀的表演。没有人注定孤独，总有人会为此感动。

    歌真的好听。就是看完也没治愈，更抑郁了……

    真的改编得很难受，中间剧情聊天时间拉长了很多，音乐反而砍了一些，但是剧情本身并不精彩吸引人，原剧最大优点是歌足够好听，电影这波改编扬短避长了。其次connor妈妈演技很灾难。最后我是一路快进听歌去了。

    改编自曾获6项托尼奖音乐剧，探讨青少年抑郁症、自杀和社交网络等。但主创却照搬了大量原版唱段甚至舞台表演形式，没有合理转变成电影应有的视听语言，将说着说着话就唱歌的尴尬感无限放大，而与情节相关且更适合影视化表现的坦诚、私密而孤独的氛围也消失，令人遗憾。

    一些关键动机被删了，需要看过音乐剧才能理解，但故事主题和表达更清晰。当Evan爬上树的时候，并没有阳光照在他脸上，如此残酷，无论是回忆还是现实，那一刻都是没有阳光的。青少年时期经历的孤独和痛苦，如果能有一次幻想是摔伤的时候有人拉一把，那该是多么美好的自欺欺人。
