The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 好听好看又有新意。已经难以归纳类型了，但就是这种打破类型和结构限制的叙事方式，另观众的代入感更强，能够完全被情绪所沐浴。在两个小时的市场内仿佛走完了男主角的一生。加菲完全值得一个影帝提名。
7.9 剧本结构的起承转合做的好，罗莎这个角色做的漂亮，迈克也是他的灵感缪斯，斯蒂芬稍弱。最美场景泳池里的音符。当然此片还是不如爱乐之城，主角的还原度没有那么高。
除了不喜欢大部分的音乐之外没有缺点。Sunday的cameo太棒了，说这部电影是音乐剧爱好者的复联Endgame不为过。今年的三十岁焦虑真多啊。
