The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 近年最烂。强行拉流量（安室透）进局，各种离大谱，连柯南都智商下线只秀肌肉…23年最好是有点推理成分，不要把小哀也搞坏了…
最搞笑的还是制作组给俄罗斯人加了好多戏，结果最近这时事…😂
法国电影里奶油般的轻快感绵延多年没有断绝过。
最大的感悟是今年中途没有睡着！然后松田简直我青春回忆，他死的那一集我哭了三天。能在电影院看到同期四人组真是卖情怀卖到点上了。票价你们拿去。高木和佐藤，真是杀了我给你们祝祝兴吧。安室跳飞机那个除了耍帅还有别的作用吗。是要学柯南当个杂技演员吗。最后说一句涩谷炸了就炸了吧。
梗挺多的，能理解到就挺容易get到笑点，各种致敬和恶搞还是挺有意思的。
星驰法国分驰又一部让人笑掉大牙的喜剧。“斯坦李”出来我真是笑傻了。
用法语字幕看日本影视，感觉很不好，语序都是反的🙉
剧情有点意思，笑点也还行，莫名有点国产喜剧的感觉，估计很有可能被国内翻拍
全程爆笑，很多超英梗。情节设定虽然老套但是达到了喜剧效果，性喜剧的梗并不显得低俗。
我不得不说内涵得还不错，但是剧情是真的撑不起来
毕竟是这个有点难忘的五一的一部分，而且竟然是满仲劝导演的作品哎
法国版周星驰，虽然是恶搞片，不过这部电影恶搞的还是挺有看点的，整部电影看似杂乱无章，就在杂乱无章之中，又有一定的联系，逻辑性还是比较强的。推荐
哈哈哈实在是太好笑了，今年最酣畅淋漓的喜剧观影体验，我在家里真的笑出了鹅叫😂😂😂疯狂玩梗，讽刺效果点满，某些迪士尼游乐园电影真的要无地自容了，法国的这个喜剧组合真的太天才了，真的不怕华纳迪士尼两家一起陪你打官司吗😂😂😂剧情是简单了点，情节推进是生硬了点，但这不妨碍它很快乐呀，私心给个五星。
中间猜到了凶手，但真正的剧情比我猜的有些复杂了让牛顿棺材板压不住的桥段其实还是有的，但是不影响整体观感。所以我还是推荐的。
有几个桥段还挺好笑的哈哈哈哈哈哈，为啥法国电影里的蠢货看起来都像先天脑子就不好的那种啊。
