The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 挺有幽默感和烟火气息的，光不尬这一点就好过很多国产院线喜剧片了，演员们其貌不扬但都有气场
比起《别叫我情圣》差了很多，故事线太单薄，剧情转接太生硬，最后的小彩蛋不错。

作为网络电影，崔志佳算是最用心的导演了！二手月季最适合为这部电影做主题曲了，太适合了！
佳佳认真演戏的样子还不错，可以找一部严肃题材演一下。本片有两场傍晚的戏份，摄影不错，有些像韩影的样子。佳佳如果想拍好喜剧，还是离辽宁民间艺术团那些演员远一些比较好。
