The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 第一人称和激励角度：你能为自由付出什么？答案是一切。这是个悲壮的故事，背后为了获得自由而牺牲的人们浓缩进了这部片子，它只是世界诸多为了自由而奋斗的人民的缩影之一；

自由的代价是“生命的一切”。故事很精彩，描绘了南非一群为了理想和正义而战斗、牺牲的战士和英雄，同时也展示了殖民主义、种族主义分子的偏狭残忍。
说教意识太强，故事太松散，道具蛮用心的，摄影服装 蛮专业的。只是不明白为啥分这么高，因为有曼德拉的政治光环？

片尾令人潸然泪下的歌曲是Asimbonanga，由祖鲁语演唱的合唱和用英语演唱的诗句组成，在反对种族隔离运动中广受欢迎。（理想主义者永远一腔热忱）
哪里有压迫，哪里就有反抗。毛主席说过，星星之火可以燎原。
电影版画面很唯美、故事讲的也很好；
同样题材但是是治愈的路线。杏奈的角色可爱且勇敢，应该很受观众喜欢。相比起来隔壁同样题材的剧里不那么漂亮坚强的女主被骂得可不要太惨，最讽刺的是嘲笑辱骂她的长相的正是现实中的gay。
任何一个同性恋都会有共情，都会被感动的片子。虽然很俗套，但是谁不想有人为自己这样挺身而出？
很清新、温柔的作品。虽然不是bl的世界，但也是美好的，或者说呈现的方式是美好的。
