A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.
Flodders (1986) is available on DVD in Germany in a dubbed German version in Dolby Digital 5.1. under the name:

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
亚里士多德说要致力于正义的秩序，城邦以正义为原则。柏拉图说为了正义可以不择手段去实现。柏拉图是亚里士多德的老师。双男主戏，都是为了结束独裁、实现民主的目标，但手段大相径庭，在首尾呼应的“偷鸡蛋”一事中就可以明显看到处理的方法不同，大概也是理想主义者与现实主义者的区别吧。演员都是好戏之人，“民主选举”的相互倾轧、尔虞我诈、勾心斗角也足够精彩，可惜看的是机译字幕，减一星。。。
《南山的部长们》后最值得一看的韩国政治电影，很难简单地展开说，信息量大，需要大概的人物对应和历史脉络，但对韩国人来说再熟悉不过了。钦佩于他们的胆大，也尊重这种在类型片中试图讨论复杂理念的勇气，尽管有不少的套路和缺陷，但这种影片总会让人再次正视电影与社会存在关系的意义之一，给薛景求加一星。
精彩的，也是严肃的与认真的。政治惊悚片的外壳之下有创作者的尖锐，双男主绝佳的演技让观众为人物的命运无比唏嘘。
韩国电影真是各种类型都齐备，像这种政治类型片我们永远不能正大光明地拍，拍啥都是主旋律
薛叔依旧演技在线，对比第一次看叔的《薄荷糖》时，叔已经老了不少了，心痛(╯︵╰,)
以金大中为原型的政治类影片，为达目的，不择手段，然而现实只会更加黑暗不堪。薛景求和李善均的组合无比丝滑。
你知道了吗
我们为了正义可以使用各种手段。
老实说我是抱着很高的期待看此片的，也确实有点看头，但问题也很明显。对历史的演义，就说选举策略这事，当年受条件所限，自然不可能有如今大数据分析这些手段，而且一切都是开先河之举，想到做到就已经不易，这是历史赋予的逻辑合理性。但你是今人，要迎合今人的审美趣味，就不能仅满足于和观众达成某种谅解，你得超越。这样一个谋士在今人眼中并无丝毫高明之处，他若自始至终不摇摆，则更是了无生趣，即使往政治中注入正义的鸡血，也是枉然。打个比方，你塑造诸葛亮，也得重塑才有成功的可能性，就算伎俩无法升级，也该极尽斗智之能事，把谋略做得更花哨更传奇一些。就这点遗憾。几个主要角色的演技都还在线，情感、心理都到位，叙事很成熟很韩国。
三星吧，看到三分之二看不下去了，比起《南山的部长们》还是略逊一筹，可能我看不出来其中的政治隐喻，但是剧情太平铺直叙了，没有高潮，提不起来兴趣。
韩国人拍这种政治题材、风云人物片得心应手，时代的波澜起伏更多是背影，就像那站在身后的影子。走在前台的是王者与他的影子助手的关系的变迁。而大选过后两位幕后影子的关于正义的对话也值得思考思考
前半还是很好看的，拍摄和剪辑都很有意思。但是前后多少有些矛盾，前面主角们信誓旦旦地说为了正义可以不择手段，后面又开始可怜巴巴地为了良心不能这么做。对于南山部长和纸牌屋爱好者来说，这部主角们的善和恶都不够彻底，所以最后输掉竞选完全在意料之内。
故事完整而紧凑，导演的运镜非常讲究，光线明暗教科书级别的调度。双男主的对手戏拳拳到肉，薛景求内敛而又有力的表演，李善均也并不逊色，韩国的政治片真是世界顶级水平。
读完了韩国现代史，更加理解了电影的内核。金大中总统不容易，要站着，还能挣钱，果然不能轻易当选。
薛景求和李善均演技一流，真的没话说，但是剧本在剧情方面简直沉闷到像在看纪录片，明明是一个《纸牌屋》似的政治惊悚底子，却拍的如此沉闷，也是导演的水平，再加上人物矛盾的幼稚化处理，让本该像《南山的部长们》一样大爆的剧只能作为冷门片草草收场。
徐这影子终究会有他的阴暗，可再光明磊落的人置身阳光下，也会有影子，影子就是人的一部分，抛弃了影子你就不完整，再多的说辞不过是自欺欺人。
你说他是为了民族大义吧，好像也不是，也不是为了钱，只能理解是为了理想吧，诸葛亮是不是也是这样想的。

这部电影对我们而言，只是一种望梅止渴，无论是政治现实，还是创作现实，因此我们的指手划脚就像得是阉割下的吠月之犬。
运筹帷幄在影中，既然见了光了便无法从容出诈。白屈菜既是毒药也爱良药，在理想之巅还是现实军权，憎恨远比博得喜爱更难。打了一剂猛药，哪怕在七十四岁也能开出花朵。
