The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 一个退伍老兵，一条退役军犬，一个“送死”旅程...
布里格带着露露来到莱利的葬礼上，露露飞奔到莱利的战靴旁，静静地伏在靴子上的时，猝不及防地直击心灵，人狗情深在此时得到升华。查宁演这种战争创伤综合征的退伍战士挺不错的，这部片子总算没有看到他露屁股了。
成片的起承转合就很网飞，Jake的表演值得一看

剧情稀烂，人和狗都还不错。居然在影片里吐槽《实习医生格蕾》，看来这剧实火，也够抓马。
一人一狗的自我救赎之旅！我们这些没有经历过战争的人，永远也无法理解战争带来的伤害，不管是人类，还是狗狗，他们都付出了太多，也只有他们自己才能实现自我救赎！
