The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 真就是小孩子看不懂，大人又不爱看的作品，白瞎了那么好的标题了，没啥好说的，一星。
作为一部儿童恐怖片，它在“儿童”和“恐怖”两种类型之间平衡得很好，既有属于童话的纯真、奇幻和成长意义，也不乏惊悚效果极佳的恐怖桥段和元素，对主角的塑造也充满恐怖影迷情结，甚至还能将“糖果屋”这一旧童话故事进行续写并成为情节发展的重大转折。当然对大多数成年观众来说，这种低龄化的简单故事未必还能引起太多兴趣，但能够在有限的尺度范围内做到这种程度已经算相当不错了。
女主和村长演技在线，前面还是有点恐怖，后面太狗血了，全程都在用剪切的手法专场，一会儿一个故事，显得剧情很乱，温情部分一点也不催泪
听说是国产惊悚片佳作，结果看了之后也不过尔尔……

Of course, it’s another queer-baiting movie🙂！故事叙述急促混乱，节奏把控非常稚嫩。但是画面，布景，和配色真的很美很舒适。最喜欢的场景是The Jungle
我觉得画面真的很对我口味，特别是讲故事的那些故事表现手法，但是剧情稍显薄弱，加强版的糖果屋要是能更有故事性就好了。
