The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 男主演得不错，但还是不太喜欢看他的脸。女主有点太完美，就好像夫妻生活中没有任何争吵。克隆体替你生存，帮你照顾家庭，或者克隆体，就是你。你死了，你的一部分还活着，所以你没有死。
身怀绝症之人要如何延续自己的身体机能、记忆以及情感，要如何学会告别，这部电影给出了一份答案。在冷感科幻的氛围里，平静温柔地讲述了男主做出最终决定的这一过程。想起了黑镜中的某一集，只是那是站在逝去亲人那一方的角度来看待问题的，但感情同样动人。

作为软科幻，它甚至没有走到探讨记忆与人格的关系那一步，而是停在了与亲人告别这一层，总之有点可惜

每一个镜头和布景，都那么有设计感，但又不脱离人味，科技元素也是一样的处理，很不错。相比之下，剧情不太吸引人，好在有演员的演技撑着。

为站在小房间凝视“我爱你”再加一星。是我非常喜欢的主题，但是聚焦点却不在科技与伦理，而是不带judge地展示一个人选择如何离开与被遗忘。It’s hard being left behind，只有狗记得你。爱情本质上还是利己：爱更久，存在更久。我太喜欢马赫沙拉的脸了。结尾正好是圣诞节。🎄🎄🎄
构思好，节奏慢，而且看上去有点故意慢。。。
