The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 剧本可以啊！！！反转反转！最后窦骁也太帅了吧
配乐和转场流畅 整体还可以 但还是有点耍小聪明 并不算太高明 算是把悬疑片常用的反转和犯罪片惯用的人性流都一股脑用上了

❸干姐夫的设定有什么用没看懂。
刚好是看完扬名立万补了这个片子，刚好相反这个电影在镜头运用，场景氛围营造，演员上更好。剧本问题挺大，首先人物背景全靠自己说倒叙，这个手法太拙劣了吧，本来我以为外卖员杀人事件之前一直有新闻提醒，怎么的也应该是老李不小心注意新闻上的物证发现外卖员马明亮的杀人犯在逃身份，完成身份反转。老李和阎正联手和马明亮搏斗，完成人物关系的反转，和电影开头对应。结果没有，靠犯人自曝……
算是国产疯狂系列的一部合格作品，后半段还升华了一下。就是结尾太仓促了点。
最后那个医院手环的暗示竟然不是说明小女孩是主角的孙女
为朱珠前来，但是戏份较少，也并不出色，出色的部分在预告都播完了。全篇看起来比较老套，较拖沓。窦骁换身衣服后突然变帅，但是不能撑起整个剧情。
整体框架其实还是很有意思引人入胜的，但太多让人出戏的内容了。猜想是编剧赶deadline没时间给糊弄了，不然能给四星
中间其实还好，部分过于抓马浮夸的地方也能忍，但接近尾声就开始拉，那个被锁隔间的警察要是没出来就是无奈荒诞现实，这出来了就是小学生作文结尾。最后彩蛋俩本应已死的“好人”还硬生生给整活了，减星的冲动更强烈了。
没有电影大气上档次的feel，一股土味咋回事儿。。。。然后最后竟然是解救被拐卖卖去要饭的孩子。。。。
就是一个每次出来一个人就变一种前因的老套故事，加个绑架儿童也没有很升华。就是让我想到里面的莉莉没机会开口说话了，没法从她口中听到她眼里的事实，事实全由活着的人来编造。
有的地方紧张中带着一点诙谐 还挺逗的 但觉得小马的人设有点立不住 感觉要么更强一点要么更普通一点...emm
白切黑的确很窦骁，大明白一个。其他的就乏善可陈
反转要出乎预料才好看，电影该比观众快一步，「不速来客」显然没做到。

设计挺有巧思，层层反转，多角度叙述，挺精彩
黑色幽默看多的话，对这类诸多巧合之作就不觉得惊艳了。饶是知道他不断反转，也不愿高潮强推情感的骚操作。觉得人物的性格不够鲜明，模糊于故事本身，逻辑便也不那么清晰了。
感觉很多青年男导演处女作都偏爱这种非线性叙事，通过一起入室偷窃引发的连环事件，不断通过各种闪回交代碎片化的线索。整体结构完整，但有几环有点牵强。技法纯熟，但创意略显不足
作为悬疑剧还算是合格的，但感觉后面有点滥用升格了。
