The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 温暖的几个小故事，翻开绘本，我们看到了各色的画风，各地的方言，不同的人。不想长大的小兔子，温柔的“摆渡人”伯伯，充满希望的残疾男孩，开着糖水铺等待女儿回家的蒯老伯，双胞胎之间的一次身份认同，外婆载满了回忆的铁皮柜轮椅，黄焖鸡米饭小店里的幸福小家... 每一个小故事都在刻画一个身边普通人的缩影。
