The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 金属题材加分！！前面的内容过分无聊了，有心理创伤的刺头成长史过于冗长，被兄弟从问题少年中心捞出来之后就火速转性又有点太快。anyway 最后的演出燃炸了，大提琴的音色在金属乐里也很搭。skullfucker变成skull flower也太搞笑
因为题材给了四星，很多笑点还是get到的。但DB的剧本和人物塑造真不太行，整体观感是又尬又搞笑。看完默默给《重金属囧途》改成了五星。
鼓手打的不错，那套鼓也不错，国内奔着十万以上走吧，主唱片尾的那段solo挺好，然而除上述之外，片子不再有其它出彩的地方。音乐总体一般，完全比不了“重金属囧途”，故事很硬，还选了高中生作人物，整部片子不温不火，没多大意思，音乐也没多大意思。
重金属的电影隔几年总能看到一部新作，就像时不时会在昏沉的工作间隙，听上一首激昂的嘶吼，振奋精神。唯一的遗憾，就是青春期的那种不安与躁动没有了。青春真好，音乐真好，专注与收获真好
虽然和其他青春片套路近似，但明显高出一个档次
