7/10。前半段的马戏团与后半段的通灵术单看其实挺精彩，怪奇物具与幽暗人心都是陀螺的拿手好戏，可合到一起就偏偏变成了四平八稳的警世恒言，差强人意。

好故事，悬念、节奏、背景都扣人心弦，男主角表演有深度，最后几个表情特写和台词功力，印象深刻，一部怀旧的好片子……
剧情给到美恐一集就可以完事，但因为有这么多大牌在，必须每个人的戏份都拉长给足再加上恶趣味美学搞氛围，齁得慌。
其实故事是有点cliche的，但陀螺的哥特审美又一次占了上风。

个人是挺喜欢托罗的美学的，但实在没什么化学反应噻……属于托罗的那part都有故弄玄虚之嫌。
cooper依旧帅气迷人，电影进行到一个小时了才切入正题，全程无聊，最后一个反转还挺有意思的，本来自己是风靡一时的“心理师”最后还是上当被变成“怪人”喝酒的梗埋的好高级
男主跟Ralph Fiennes都撞脸的程度了 分两段看的 说实话前面太拖沓了 剧情就像爱伦坡的小说
我的妈呀，150分钟话唠片，剧本又没有那么好，全程平平推进，全明星阵容难赔偿我浪费的时间，陀螺这种奇幻大导，居然拍出这种情绪没有波动的作品，煎熬到想中途放弃，又怕好戏在后头，结果庸常到底，陀螺还是好好去拍奇幻惊悚片，这种零火花零高潮的故事，真的很难泛起水花，尤其不是以剧情片见长的类型片导演。★☆

又是那么的简洁高效
已经被大魔王的红唇迷死了！（电影画面赏心悦目，故事剧情一般也能沉浸看完）
多出来的40分钟得到了精致的埋线和铺垫，也带来了刻意和冗长。
马戏团背景还是黑白粗砺的影像更有时代的味道。
我喜欢 geek生成记 不是美恐畸形秀 是属于陀螺的freak show华丽演出 美术和布景都很美 周旋在女性中间 最后也栽了跟头 结尾的转折虽然突然但也惊艳
三星半。其实整体上还算有模有样，陀螺也很适合这种洞悉人心式的暗黑风格题材。前半段马戏团部分的美术风格也颇具观赏性。就是每次表演之后都自己揭秘，或者先说谜底后表演，这种感觉不那么ok.
