The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 节奏和叙事比前篇好很多，每个人物都兼顾了高光刻画，喜欢这种平淡的结尾，没有刻意煽情，很符合中国人留白的表达。
