这是两位主演的演技巅峰。劳模姐能锁定奥斯卡了吧？也许这个女人贪婪、自欺欺人。但她却也相对真实，并且她对于少数群体的支持和在那个男性主导的年代敢于发声，都是真实地让人感动。这部电影没有那么多跌宕起伏，情感和故事线都有些失焦，但还是要为两位主演鼓掌。
劳模姐功力了得，完全想不到是她演的，相较之下加菲演的特别像乳臭未干的臭小子，完全被比下去。不过他们吵架吵得特别到位，丈夫永远像个小孩子，而妻子被迫做起老妈子，到最后怎么能不相看两厌呢？
比预想中好看，世俗的成功与失败建立在神圣的传教事业之上，脑子里把这个故事总结成“要成功，先要找到由头”，而最后变成一地鸡毛，又迷失在这个由头中，有些荒谬的闭环。

演技没得说，但是这个题材的确不是我的菜。
她坚信“God loves you just the way you are”！这就是她力量的源泉所在。
故事的核心始终没找到属于自己的落脚点，终成平庸寡淡的流水账。
劳模姐每年始终如一输出优秀的表演，这次应该是很有希望的，希望跟加菲这次都能有所收获，片子整体一般，主要靠演员魅力带动片子，跟那年的朱迪有些许相似，但都不是特别喜欢.
姚弛速报月刊第三十一期，推荐语：往常我更喜欢刻画普通人生活笔触细腻，让人感觉真实没有距离感的表演。然而这部电影是一个与我以往审美取向完全不同的例外。相比于平凡人的故事，本片讲述的故事有着与我们距离遥远的起点还有疯狂的、很具娱乐性的爆炸式的大起大落。影后劳模姐和加菲的表演让我看得又惊又喜，为什么可以这么有想象力，可以这样演可以这样塑造让人信服的立体人物。

四平八稳的传记片，“劳模姐”确实对得起自己这个昵称。
影片中的Tammy Faye是个爱所有人的事业女性 着重展现了她对homosexual的支持 婚外情是她唯一可被指摘的(但这也是由于丈夫生活中对她的冷漠) 难说这部电影展现的人物、选择的事件都是完全真实的 但Jessica Chastain的表演为她饰演的角色赋予了实感
3.5 give Jessica her Oscar already??? Watch an interview of Tammy you’d see how good of a job she’s doing. What a fascinating woman. I wouldn’t have known her if not for this movie. I think she has a bigger heart than most. She was really maligned & mistreated. In terms of the movie, good pacing. Had me gripped the whole time. A big ask for biopics
