The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 混乱的剧情：最开始以为是鬼屋题材，中段女主被囚禁储物间反复出现十字架以为是宗教片，到了最后女主看了奶奶笔记怀念亲情反杀、传承奶奶的苹果黄油手艺，才发现是家庭片。不过结尾奶奶的笔记明显是错的，苹果坏一处实际整个苹果都有影响，最好不吃，而不是切掉坏的继续吃。

疫情期的特定类型，结合当下的讽刺+调侃，还是阿帕图一直以来的屎屁尿，本意肯定就的玩儿没想正经拍，一帮卡司也很配合，比如明明能靠颜值非要当搞笑女的凯伦·吉兰，片长再精简点会更好。
