The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 观影其实是很私密化的体验，如果它能够让我relate，那么对于我来说就是一部好电影。《无依之地》前面1小时20分钟我都是跟在大片留白的剧情后面，偶尔被细节或台词触动，而从Fern离开Dave家的那一刻开始，我开始和她一起上路了。一个人吹着海风，和路上遇到的朋友聊过往，走向未知，孤独但自由。We don’t settle. See you down the road.
对比科长的山河故人，以及近年好莱坞众多同类电影，涉足荒野之类，本片只能算是顺利完成作业。前三分之二都还保持水准，然后过多的渲染情绪的配乐，就像女性导演不自知的感性一样，让电影逐渐落入不可挽回的俗套，离表达的命题也越来越远。但这种电影，我国也就科长能拍出一部，娄烨拍出半部。ps，乔尔他老婆演起这种片，可比科长老婆水准高太多，演过她老公兄弟那么多片子，弗兰西斯依旧保持独有的特质，堪称美国电影界的女版陈道明也不为过。

对话写得太好了，几个配角的对白都令人落泪。个体叙事高于一切。
想起了《荒野生存》，没什么三段式，平铺直叙的节节生活，遇到人，被邀请，离开人，仿佛人的一生一样……总想到荒野生存中的那个小哥，如果他还活着，会不会也是无依之地的一员？
希望片中人不要說話。

这种淡淡的风格挺治愈的，走在路上,看到后面却有开始怀疑，这是一种逃避还是救赎，不是被美化的西部牛仔，而是社会性的放逐，被社会放弃的那些人，我们该怎么办，导演发现了问题用美化的滤镜展现给大家，但是化脓的伤疤不会成为金色的勋章
看着还是纪录片的手法和拍摄方法，画面不那么好看，老头老太太也不讨喜，估计应该是题材还算新颖。
景觀、光線與視聽之美讓我流淚，文本與對白的虛假無力一再將沉浸的我硬生生拉扯出來。
构图好美，配乐超赞，很多长镜头。
