本质上依然是一部孩童电影，整部作品在基于「儿童」视域下对成人关系和未来世界进行哲理性思考，刻意在理性主义和感性意识上有所平衡，在说教的同时也在学会如何温柔。作者将两者进行交叉式的兼容和推进，被填满的是大人与孩子共同的成长空间。表演是具有魔力的，文本作为表演之外的加工表现出更加轻盈的状态，黑白色调更加延伸了情感的转折与递进，因此反衬的是人物内心更加七彩斑斓的世界。不断闪回的病房是兄妹之间的芥蒂，而舅舅与外甥之间反复的采访片段是不断疗愈的过程，纪录片的制作则是将中心思想向四周进行多角度投射，整体上完成了一次较高维度的立体影像。
