The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 快意恩仇的江湖又回来了。在蛮荒的时代，弱肉强食，当决定放下屠刀重新作人，在那荒野深处，可谁知，一次的恻隐之心，却又把自己拉回到江湖，如果一直凶残下去，会如何？江湖中闻风丧胆？拯救自己，和拯救他人，在蛮荒的江湖，有时候就是生死的抉择。好久没看过这么这么爽快的片子了！
依旧保持西部片的精神内核，只是结局隐喻着西部片没落的现实，而这种现实大概起于三十年之前。

这么一个俗套的故事被导演拍得还挺好看，不容易。

这年头想看个像《老亨利》这样的西部片都已经很难得了。
等我死后，你会听到很多关于我的事情，其中很多都不是真的，我自己也不知道我是谁了……当你第一次开枪的时候，你就从此打开了完全不同的门……
超出预期，归隐的神枪游侠死于宵小之手，令人惋惜
一次有效的复古西部电影 但还不足以让西部电影重新站在好莱坞的回归之路
有点装。坏人都得死，曾经的坏人也得死，看来老美也讲政治正确。
巜老亨利》是传统复古的西部片。剧中的老亨利年轻时曾是职业杀手，中年后与儿子小亨利隐居乡间养猪为生。在与一群枪劫追钱的匪徒枪战中死在了匪徒枪下。
永远不要惹一个真正的杀手，即使枭雄迟暮。如同克林特伊斯特伍德的《不可饶恕》，当挤压的一切最终爆发的那一刻，情节也被推到了高潮，最后的反转颇为亮眼，随之亨利的死也是对其的自我救赎，很棒的作品。
当年的牛仔不找掩体么？还有不要相信陌生人。
