The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 尽管有诸多理想主义的爽文套路（比如坏人都蠢，好人一路顺利），但大概也是因为狱中逼供的场景已经足够给人留下心理阴影，权衡之下放弃了一部分真实的黑暗
塑料般廉价的印度贫民电影。但，他们至少还可以游行示威，还有不畏权势不担心失去执照的死磕律师。律师全程面瘫减分。

虽然依旧不习惯印度电影穿插的音乐歌舞，但并不妨碍这部电影优秀的节奏感

从一个电影剧情的角度，全程高潮迭起，情节的紧张和放松节奏十分舒适，案件的反复也引人玩味。
还是爽文模式，有效，但看多了也觉得无趣，虽然是真实事件……

司法独立，警政腐败，选举政治和种姓制度，将这么多敏感话题融合在一部电影里，又能详略得当的都照顾到，印度电影水平真令人佩服。
男主好有型，律师袍衣角飞扬，神挡杀神的样子仿佛手持天平与利刃的韦驮天。相比之下其他人浮夸的印式表演和抢戏BGM都显得瑕不掩瑜，毕竟民权律师这种职业在我国实属不可被刻画、不可被谈及、甚至不可被需要的。

为低种姓穷苦人伸张正义的真实事件，很感慨，人类和世界纵然有很多的黑暗，但仍因有他们和他们所争得的正义而值得热爱。同样学法律出身的我很惭愧。
可看性很强，可以当律师片看，一路高歌猛进的人权律师，总能拿到出其不意的证据击溃愚蠢的警察。
