The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 布里格带着露露来到莱利的葬礼上，露露飞奔到莱利的战靴旁，静静地伏在靴子上的时，猝不及防地直击心灵，人狗情深在此时得到升华。查宁演这种战争创伤综合征的退伍战士挺不错的，这部片子总算没有看到他露屁股了。
出人意料地不错，基本算是全程无尿点，情节开展也算合理，最后反杀也说得通，四星鼓励一下。
独幕剧，即使隐掉了前因，对话和氛围还是撑起了所有情绪。
狗子演得好。情节有点乱。吃霸王餐吃到开眼倒是挺搞笑的。

氛围烘托的很好，全靠女主演技支撑着！结局虽然能猜到，但枪响之后还是挺过瘾的。

看了一会感觉似曾相识，慢慢看才想起应该是改编的，记得以前看过类似的片子，看完查了下是翻拍的2018年的片子，很压抑 男主没有上一部男主脸上的冷静感，这个看的非常躁动，分分钟要崩溃
老兵救赎，一人一狗，太老套的公路片。演技不够身材来撑，看了约等于没看，打发时间。只觉得美国真的挺大。

整体就是及格的套路故事片吧，加一分给可爱狗勾和男主好身材
人道主义、充分尊重个体、动物保护主义，只在灯塔国。
lu'lu终究是幸运的，最后被领养了，离开了残酷的工作和任务，被爱与温情包围后，也会逐渐淡化那些经历战争后的创伤吧。虽然片尾说是“in memory of lulu”，但感觉对于退役军人的救赎和治愈更多一些。
尤其最后送狗子回基地测评，而舍不得狗子受罪，重新带走那一刻真的太感人！即便老套的剧本也能引起共情！美帝霸权主义侵掠那么多年，工具狗🐶军犬都跟着倒霉！
