这么好看的电影不引进太可惜了。开头夫人盛装打扮，还以为她是要坐贵宾席观摩决斗呢，结尾给鞋子特写，脚上的枷锁造成强大的反差。三种视角展现，前两种男性视角和最后的女性视角相距甚远。结尾算是导演的善意，一如欧也妮·葛朗台，但她们所经历的苦难都让人心痛。
可以一直看下去，巴适得很，跟着川人苦中作乐

需要用分段方式展现的诡计不足以称之为诡计。最后的决斗戏便拍得极好，导演反复摆弄着有关“谁将死”与“谁该死”的悬念，在每个人的头顶上安放了一把达摩克利斯之剑。眼神的光芒黯淡了，表演的姿态坍塌了，识破诡计如此简单，于是更显得前两小时全是废戏。
