The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 极致的实验地狱绘卷，集大成之作的cult邪典工业作品，三十年的创作的定格逐帧动画，呈现出来的是如同噩梦般的表演，本片主创过于沉浸自我挥洒脑洞的世界，导致有些段落实在不能接受，越到后面越来越迷幻与疯狂，一切都回到原点，什么宇宙大爆炸，人类起源以及神秘丰碑等等，不得不说虽然过于猎奇，但是当中塑模和场景搭建以及各种人事物的造型做工非常了得…
油管上有38分钟的三个短片合集，现阶段找不到全片，不过很精彩。
用定格动画的形式制作的长篇恐怖片，工作量巨大，因此非常罕见。巴别塔，黑石碑，电击，吞粪，畸形人，剥皮表演，活体解剖，婴儿献祭，宇宙大爆炸，典型的欧美人爱的猎奇血浆片，脓和屎尿很足。观看过程是彻头彻尾的噩梦。
虽然看不懂，但隐隐约约觉得似乎是人类文明的诞生和毁灭。文明起源进化造孽等等元素搞来搞去。较cult，较无聊。
先别管什么隐喻不隐喻的，视觉感受真是非同凡响。饭前服用疗效好！

形式大过内容 不过前期暗黑血腥与后期唯美生机的对比 还挺有意思的
7分。生与死轮回不止，生命更迭的圣经故事。相当阴间的定格动画。无对白，全靠配乐烘托氛围，多年制作，道具细节很强。我看不懂但我大受震撼。
杂乱昏暗的世界背景下充斥着各类畸形怪物，在大量定格模型的镜头下显得真实可怖，以一种先遣队探险式的路线走进下层布满惊恐无序压抑的环境中，看出了压榨掠夺和战争的反讽元素，但导演最终的核心没有能把握到。
看了前两部分，还是不错的。属于那种有隐喻但没必要细究跟着电影走自由遐想就行的默片。
制作组足够努力……然而我对又脏又乱又湿的环境反感至极……看不下去
