This was the first of the videos that started a trend of sex education videos in the early 1990s . I guess the idea behind it was for liberated women to go into a high street store and buy it without any type of guilt or inhibition , but no doubt the main buyer market was teenage boys and dirty old men
THE LOVERS GUIDE is groundbreaking in the fact that it publicised that the couples involved were real life partners but this is slightly dishonest , yes the main couple featured Wendy and her husband were indeed a real life couple who'd been married several years but there was some public controversy that at least one of the couples Kathryn ( The gorgeous brunette ) and Marino ( The well buffed geezer with a ponytail ) had never met one another until they appeared on set where they had unprotected sex for the camera . For a video that self righteously dedicates segments to safe sex it is rather hypocritical
Seeing as it's for education purposes and not pornography as such there's limits as to what can be shown but as a sex education video it's not uninformative though I doubt if you'll be gasping " I never knew that "
As a footnote the main couple featured became something of sexual problem agony aunts in the British press - Until it was revealed that Wendy's husband had a serious heart condition which put a stop to sex . I almost felt sorry for this couple who confessed that they used to make love as often as ten times a day but now couldn't make love once a day because it was too dangerous . My small amount of sympathy soon vanished when shortly afterwards the couple split up and raced off to the gutter press in order to dish the dirt on one another to the highest bidder .
设置是女主角被扔在了一个文化不通语言不通的境地，受限，太受限啦，所以凡是困难都需要别人帮着“做主”，最基本的交流也需要个翻译，每次出现个新人，观众会想“他会是那个‘救世主’吗”最后都以失望告终，就连结尾也是；别人不愿意浪费精力帮她“做主”时，就随便找个合理的理由粉饰一下：他只是有点喜欢你；你想多了，是你太紧张了。像是一个寓言和现实的微缩
不喜欢这种基督教电影，感觉很迷信很洗脑传销的感觉。男主的长相我本来就不喜欢，女主后期的扮相，妆发也很丑
劳模姐可是我喜欢的女演员之一，因为她够美够强。被【茉莉牌局】、【斯隆女神】女士圈粉。我在想她当初为何会接这个本子，有点傻白甜、恋爱脑的女主，当然塔米菲代表了很多渴望被爱、身心全部交付的女性，不过我看的时候走神想得更多的是：同样的皮囊，居然因为气场、神态、穿搭、三观，由内而外的一套改变，感觉完全换了一个人，说明除了美术的服化道以外，其实一个人外在是可以改变的，而且空间很大。
真心欣赏不来菲这种女性...无论何时何地都一副特别自信积极的样子，让人感觉很不舒服，而且总是一副要少干了自己的样子特别拼，可能跟我总是八字不合吧，我遇到很多次了...现实中她们多少都是五弊三缺，还有两个很早就去世了。人那么长么，不靠拼命靠长命。
相比《偷窥者》，更现实更冷峻，紧张气氛营造的不错，结尾凌厉非常，很加分。
这部对于我来说好像邪典电影……生活中接触过类似虔诚的信徒，觉得实在太诡异了。若每个人都是用生命在演戏，这些人入戏演的比我卖力多了……
真实事件改编的传记片，优秀的服化道，特别是化妆和造型简直直接换脸，正序时间线的故事略显平淡，加菲可能太娃娃脸实在演不出老年感，但劳模姐的换脸演技过于惊艳，值得横扫今年各大颁奖礼~3.5，多的半星给劳模姐的演技~
3.5星。故事比较简单，但是气氛营造的真是好，每次变态出现的时候，我都一身鸡皮疙瘩。女主之前还演过<它在你身后>，是我非常喜欢的惊悚片，推荐下！
Jessica是个很好的演员，她可以为了一个角色改变说话的方式、节奏、音高，完全create出一个和以往角色不同的人物，这一点在Tammy Faye里再次得到印证。她值得拿奖，虽然完全可以因为一部更好的电影..而这部电影除了她的表演，一无所有...
3.5 除了还原度100%的化妆术和劳模的演出之外 总体没有什么亮点的影片
传记片已经看腻了，但劳模姐的表演确实不错，看好冲奥！
Tammy Faye的人物弧光没画完整。Jessica Chastain的表演只能是空中楼阁。
3.5 give Jessica her Oscar already??? Watch an interview of Tammy you’d see how good of a job she’s doing. What a fascinating woman. I wouldn’t have known her if not for this movie. I think she has a bigger heart than most. She was really maligned & mistreated. In terms of the movie, good pacing. Had me gripped the whole time. A big ask for biopics
四平八稳的传记片，“劳模姐”确实对得起自己这个昵称。

看最前面的时候不是很喜欢这部电影，看到后半段，被查斯坦演绎的塔米·菲这个角色的人格魅力所折服。就是不知道有没有洗白的嫌疑。历史会给予每一个人公义吗？
劳模姐的个人印象分超过了电影总体给人的感觉，尚可吧。
加菲猫一如既往的稳定，不过这个片子还是很平庸，犯了纪实片的通病
一名年轻女子和她的未婚夫搬进了一套新公寓，却被隔壁大楼里一个陌生人监视的感觉折磨着。一遍是媒体不断报道的认为抓捕归案的连环杀人并斩首的凶犯，一边是不相信她的男友，女主陷入深深的恐惧之中……
海报和题材是挺吸引我的，但是剧情全方位的俗套，无非是婚姻需要陪伴和信任、成年人不要太闲以及警察毫无作用。而节奏同样因为俗套剧情显得无比拖沓，让人看得无比煎熬。
