剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     从悬疑电影的角度来说是不太合格的，悬疑性紧迫感都差点。但你代入当下社会女性真实处境的时候，你便会在观影过程中感受到女主的那种压迫感不安全感。男主能共情合理化凶手的监视，却不能共情自己老婆的不安，这才是影片真正惊悚的地方！

    有点希区柯克的味道，悬疑+心理惊悚，用了不少篇幅酝酿女主来到言语不通的陌生国度、加之无所事事而产生的多疑和不安全感，氛围也有营造出一些。女导演拍这种展现女性困境，配上反杀结局的片子，意图还是很显而易见的。

    AMC double feature. Saw the supermarket bit a few days ago & thought it was cringe. Didn’t have high hopes for today but I was pleasantly surprised. Some parts really got me. Some really thoughtful shots & editing. Not familiar w the original might dig it up & take a look.
