The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 除了回忆中扭曲的监狱还令人耳目一新外，其他部分实在是不行……开头的气势让我以为他有什么惊天大计划，没想到最后变成失足少年拯救片。

这种题材居然一点镜头语言都没有 还不如看美剧
男主演技相当不错，几乎一个人完成了一部电影，还能不分神的看完。只是以我的肤浅认识还是以失败而告终，不免充满遗憾。
本质上我觉得是过去创伤与自我救赎外加提了一下美军逼供，披了个打牌的皮。主人公很挣扎拧巴，看的我也很挣扎，在还可以-一般-其实还可以-真的一般之间来回挣扎。

算是蛮讽刺的故事。复仇和扑克毫无关系，但是也是人生无法像赌博一样算出几率
相互救赎连连碰，充斥着强烈的沉稳孤独浪漫压迫感。
我觉得把最后34分钟截掉，反而是个比较完整的故事～～
节奏很慢，也并非赌片。静下心来，看到最后，实际上就是内心的反思与自我救赎。不花哨，但沉静有爱。
优点和缺点都很明显的一部片子：从视听上讲，艺术程度不低，冷峻和疏离感塑造得很好；从剧情上讲，剧本实在不敢恭维，节奏也很拖沓。不过，奥斯卡在这部片子里也太辣了点，一头灰发冷着脸大吼着把男二推在床上那段我整个人都精神了。

不愧是写出出租车司机这样经典character study的大师！自我救赎的焦灼作为他永恒的命题，放在今日，依旧不过时，尤其是那几个主观广角镜头，真的能把人看得如痴如醉。
摄影和剪辑很加分。虽然但是，对于黑狱中的执行者没啥值得原谅的，尽管他也是个人。
