The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 单看故事结构与叙事诡计虽然并不新颖但还是保有一种残酷遗憾的美，不足之处在于过度的联系反而给人一种错乱的感觉与人物的动机过于单薄。
尽管故事讲全乎了，可还是bug太多呀。。。
电影空有概念，叙事却不严谨。男女主的感情线很不明朗，却硬说两人感情深刻。

阿祖中英混说太好笑了。结尾太太太长了，好无聊。故事一般，偶尔有几个动人的比喻句。烧脸男为什么不让阿祖演！脱离影院冷风再想想，其实很差，漂亮有啥用啊，故事写得不好就怎么讲都不行，男主离事件核心太远了，女主也很远，女导演居然还能把爱情拍得这么重要，要我来怎么也是Nick五十年下海一次结果May人没了，奇耻大辱Nick立刻准备报仇这样。回忆设定也不好，这个tank在男主手里拍不出信息差，一点tension也冇。看完很不爽：你们干嘛呢？
男主遇见梅之后一见钟情也情有可原，毕竟女主弗格森太美太魅了。全片个人感觉没有评分那么低，倒是很喜欢这个味道，，那种节奏不快的黑色电影，主角内心独白经常回响在画外音里，还有个蛇蝎美人。让我想起了《罪恶之城》，还莫名想起《移魂都市》，可能都是跟记忆有关的都市科幻吧。也算是科幻外衣的侦探片吧，到后面还被深深感动到了。
观看之前没有看任何剧透：果然是女导演，难怪情感方面把握的细腻……

非常有趣的赛朋设定，记忆读取的一些小细节也很机智，但是故事和大段的台词有点过于俗气腻歪了。
