The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 女主蛮符合紫霞人设，前传剧情补充了以前星爷版的故事，值得称赞：交代了为什么在盘丝洞里能挖出月光宝盒，为什么紫霞青霞共用一个肉身，最后芦苇荡完美衔接大圣娶亲的开头，编剧非常用心了。道具高度还原，看片尾感觉删减了好多。

金凯瑞的演技依旧是亮点，但是也把动画感又往上提升了许多。

一个非常正统的正邪对战冒险故事，每一步情节发展都非常安全地符合预期（对我踩的就是隔壁的邓布利多的情史）——除了最后居然变成了萝卜片啊哈哈哈哈哈哈我的天啊（褒义）！我金凯瑞的夸张脱线演出也好喜欢哈哈哈哈！

其实已经没啥新鲜感了，但金凯瑞的表演还是值得看的。
网大电影中算是及格之作，比很大院线电影故事讲的好。这个紫霞很NICE，可以说是朱茵之后的代表紫霞了。
虽然很短，意外的不错，网大出品比某些院线电影还良心。首先3分给编剧，确实用心了，整体故事能够自圆其说；紫霞演员难得也出彩，更有一段达叔的告别特写，可惜至尊宝变身大圣的扮相比较出戏。特效作为网大级别尚可，很多场景和台词还原和致敬旧版大话和周星驰其他电影。结局意犹未尽，当年紫霞、至尊宝生离死别的意难平总算平复了一些，冲这点就值得观看！
