The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication.     整个作品的基调看上去就很清冷，这样的题材看的不多，但疑问是一直就有的，犯过事的人能不能在新环境获得重生。女主演技确实拿捏的很稳当，整个从迷茫到焦躁到最后的释怀都表现得淋漓尽致。虽然不疾不徐地看完了整个故事，但觉得稍微再精简下片长会更好。罚叔和金并两位差点没认出来。

    很多点都是非常突兀的，比如突然薇奥拉就无条件相信了当年的真相，没有任何铺垫，突然警察儿子就被背叛要去复仇，还比如最后妹妹走向姐姐，完全没有描写她的纠结她的忏悔，我总以为会是个黑暗的结尾。全片唯一描写的就是桑德拉那张苦大仇深隐忍的脸。
