虽然只拍出了原著1/5的内容和1/10的深度，但已算是足够优秀的一部电影。片中汇聚了几乎所有法语国家的演员（法国、比利时、加拿大），好在基本不出戏；原著的语言实在太精彩，电影于是加了很多旁白（虽然是比较偷懒的方式，但也还能接受）；电影的很多情节处理得过于温情，以至于显得有点肤浅，原著要残酷得多。
主角竟是旁白，即无文学深度，又无戏剧张力，工工整整好在制作精良

是85年盛夏的Benjamin voisin弟弟！弟弟依然貌美！还有我更喜欢的演员/配音兰兰，兰兰真的是好优秀的演员夸夸！没有读过巴尔扎克这本原著，但还是那个年代宏大叙事里的个人沉浮，和一些些当代可以relate的现象。这个年代每个认真拍古典的作品都值得赞美。故事走向就很巴里林登，当然比是不敢比。

能把Balzac的这么一部长篇小说（一部分）拍出来，就不容易了。人物众多，服化道考究，演员们的表演也算到位。年轻人如何成长，追求什么？现在看来，与那时真是所差无几。只要特权阶层拥有足够的财富，追求虚荣的Lucien们就会前赴后继的。又见到Xavier Dolan，脱去稚气，有点儿认不出来，不做导演了吗～

为了获得高尚而纯洁的荣名，恒心与正直可能比才能更为重要。
剧本很好，但人物刻画有点儿弱。虽然巴尔扎克为了突出幻灭感设置了悲剧和救赎的结尾，但吕西安还是应该手撕了上流社会和投机资本家，革命万岁！
前半部分以为是「一个记者的诞生」，其实是「一场游戏一场梦」。
这情节和红与黑的于连好像啊。看来天才穷小子到大城市寻梦幻灭的故事真是亘古不变呀。

Un film emportant, empalent, éblouissant de la mise en scène tout en ayant une voix musicale, remarquable. L’adaptation est à la fois moderne et historique. Une densité narrative est également incroyable. Bref, un film ambitieux, luxueux, poignant.
