The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 也就只是一周口碑榜的片子了。导演有点贪心，好像什么都想讲，最终却又好像什么都没讲清楚、没讲好。所以，导演到底想干嘛？

这个女巫牛呀，男女老少的人生都体验了一遍。
那个满是被爱包围的小伙子 我感受过
还挺新鲜的，诗意独白下的杀人女巫。最大的巧妙之处在于年轻女巫的心智还在少儿时期，因此观众内心对少不更事的宽容战胜了其出于对生活的好奇心而犯下的罪行（论叙事的重要性），从而全片的主题变为了一个少女的认知成长史。只是费了这么大的劲来说这么一个故事、来赞美“爱”真的有必要吗？

这个题材真的太难过了，尤其是反过来，爸爸照顾阿尔兹海默的青年女儿，爸爸真不容易妻子去世了，优秀要强的女儿这样，一个疑问，这些责任不是该美国的丈夫来负么，一开始干嘛不联系丈夫呢，也没说离婚啊，女主演技挺好尤其是车里喊不认识女儿了该怎么办那里。
