The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 漫长的铺叙似另一篇Boyhood，在回归登月时日时终有回报。登月的平行剪辑有趣。过山车穿过山洞，Linklater也算致敬2001了。
大量的旁白碎语，充满着导演对于童年的回忆，对60年代的美国的回忆。
絮絮叨叨的怀旧碎碎念多到压过宏大叙事的时候，整个叙事也随之模糊起来——哪些是“真实”哪些是“虚构”呢？
本来僧格去当兵，我还跟着高兴，后来说要回去看韩老师也没多想，谁想到那居然是永别了...

还可以，画面很美，这种广阔的绿真的太吸引我了。情节有套路，但也足够真实，让我感动

剧情略单薄，看得过程比较平，一些明显想赚眼泪的情节也一般。

片子很好，无论画风还是想象力还是视角，只是这种美国怀旧风离中国很远。期待有一天能有诚实的记述一代人童年的中国电影。
全程碎碎念的旁白，蕴含着导演私人对登月的梦想，也是整个六十年代美国人的精神状态。但作为林科莱特的导演序列中是不能及格的
画风并不吸引人，反而是里面那些六七十年代美国的片段和记忆，尤为珍贵，好像一切都距离未来很近。其实中国也有过这种时期，那是八十年代。
