The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很俗套的故事，但因为男主是Jimmy, 可以看！
A disaster. 努力地往一个爆米花电影的模式上嵌套，好像什么都有了，男女主一开始的误会、将错就错、小高潮、欢乐大结局……但是每一步都是拙劣的模仿。笑话也不好笑，Jimmy doesn’t seem like have any facial expressions.
全场最惨：又有意思又贴心的帅哥Tag
感觉各个桥段都比较刻意，比如临近结尾为了欲扬先抑女主角在惊喜订婚派对上的坦白演讲，还有男主角在疗养院的那番关于面对真实自己的话，女主角最开始留下包括当众求婚那里还勉强可以用“她内心里其实喜欢他”来解释，但其他部分，包括描写男主如何如何跟女主很相配的那种细节都因为太过用力显得完全不是细节而是导演在尖叫快看啊快看啊快看他们有多配他好了解她他们才是天生一对……大概就是这种感觉吧。优点是总体来说也没什么硬伤，又是一部平平无奇的圣诞爱情电影罢辽，没什么值得回味的，但看着也挺开心的。（但当众求婚那里女主角前脚说了自己不喜欢被强迫的桥段后脚就被架在火上烤一样的被迫同意求婚，感觉这场景还挺讽刺的……）
全片最精彩的部分居然是老头老太在一起说如何在online dating 上美化自己。
两星半，剧情很老套，女主相貌变化好大，跟吸血鬼日记的时候判若两人，男主的造型也是一言难尽，给结尾致敬《真爱至上》加半星
Jimmy O Yang is just being too nice + the Asian family in the movie is just too white. But still good effort to challenge existing underrepresentation of Asian Americans nonetheless...

超级爆米花无脑电影，每个人都很平面，大致的情节走向也能猜到，但是仍然很解压

那些年最爱的女主角主演,在爱情中做自己真的很重要，片尾致敬了love actually 也算是小惊喜了，就是圣诞电影也太早了点吧！
