The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 7分。两位女主好美好有性张力，不过我一开始站错攻受了……对于禁忌之恋主题的作品毫无抵抗力，但也是真的搞不明白某些信仰的魔力
可惜摒弃男性成见的表达在后半段弱了下来；剪辑上有些地方也比较碎，歌曲铺得有点满。以及，把打破社会成见在后半段偷换成“想赢/别人只看你行不行”，不可取。
当同性情谊遇上宗教的时候，多数都是悲剧，这个电影虽然也是悲剧，但不伤人，因为她们做出的选择是出于自我意志，没有逼迫。结局时按住的手像是给了重拾前缘的希望。

看电影的时候，一直想着，电影的配乐与哪部电影有些相似，终于找到，是《薇塔与弗吉尼亚》里面的《Printing Orlando》。

宗教是男权的衍生品，所谓的"异性恋"都不过是教徒。单女、女同都是不尊重"正统"的异教徒，只会被除名，被驱逐。不过还好，姐是女同，管它天堂地狱，自由在手，青春永驻。

同名电影的改编，无疑为《五个扑水的少年》提供了一个具有先天优势的范本，但也抹杀了一个关于青春故事在创作上更多的可能。从整体来看，这部电影近乎所有的优点都是基于原作的构思，而所存的问题则很大程度上源于并不够成功的嫁接，在失去了原作中夸张却不乏真挚的喜剧氛围后，电影并没有能讲好一个属于我们中国自己的青春故事。
15.07.2022 俩女孩之间的火花太动人了，那种隐忍与欲望，表面不动声色，内心惊涛骇浪。我总相信好的感情或是信仰，注定会让人更加自由、开放与幸福，而不是用乌托邦的诡辩禁锢真实的个体。
最近看了好多涉及到宗教的电影，一直不理解，这都有人信？
真的很好看！！！导演宣传的特别用心！剧情很好！就是排片有点少，希望各大影院多宣传
