The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 历史，回看时才更清晰。评判，要更久之后。影片记录的曾经的南非，那么遥远，最点亮的是剧终的黑底白字：“本片来自真实事件”
非常舒服的视角和节奏，看到最后还很感动。山田杏奈以后专门演LGBT题材的电影吧，太适合了！

前半部分的情节和节奏尚可，后面就一言难尽了。总体上不够打动人。
根据南非种族隔离期间，一桩真实的人质劫持事件改编，不过与当时的实际情况有很大出入，属于对历史的再创作，掺杂了很多剧组单方面的理想化的虚构。
所以卡尔文为什么不能每隔一段时间打伤一个人质以此为危险！
看完就记住了一个台词：“自由的代价是什么，一切” 搭配《漫漫自由路》服用，效果感人。
代入感很强，很刺激万万没想到的是那结局还以为会抵挡第二波攻坚，结果自己走出去了

一个非常合格的小成本商业片，套在这样一个历史真实事件下去讲述，哪怕我们不是非洲人，也能快速的感受到那个时代世界所带来的歧视以及反抗，因为黄种人也好，地域歧视也好，我们谁又能说没经历过那种不平等的对待呢
