The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很日化的韩影，改编自日剧，叙事转场也很日式。看遍了血泪控诉，这类稍显温柔的方式也算新鲜。
电影名字叫“温柔的酒吧”，其实更确切的是“温柔的查理舅舅”。大本真老了，半天没有认出来。不管你怎样，完全不会judge你，哪怕耶鲁毕业后无业赖在家里，这样的舅舅和家人去哪里找。

乔治•布鲁尼导演，大本主演，同名畅销小说改编。虽然没有父亲陪伴，但有个好舅舅也不错，看来也成功了。回到80年代，故事略平淡，有点乏味。
本扮演的舅舅一角的确有内涵，社会早就分成了三六九等，拼命的付出改变现状去对抗阶级间的一句顺水人情…
上了名校也依然不能摆脱命运，只能靠运气写书，多少有点理想派天真，原来美国也是只有读书改变命运的现状。
