The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 整片节奏有些奇怪，感觉就只是一场战役…另外如果背景放在抗日战争我还能共情一些，放在抗美援朝……
国师诚意之作，聚焦宏大战争背景下个体，感情真的很充沛

张泽没超过3分钟镜头 章居然当主演了 原来是老乡 难怪说长得像一个球友
好上加好。对观众情感走向的引导、烘托和拿捏非常精准。
章宇真是个不错的演员，听着这贵州话（分不清西南官话，章宇是贵州人吧）还是挺亲切的。能在这么简单的几个场景下拍得这么有故事感，真是很厉害了。
同为抗美援朝题材，与《长津湖》的大场面不同，张导主要着力于小，掐头去尾大约70分钟时间全部展现这场与美军的狙击战，悬念重生高潮迭起，张导整体的节奏把握到位，把几位新演员的表演调教的真实可信，张译首尾现身，章宇演的尤其出彩，几场戏处理的感人肺腑，张艺谋导演以72岁高龄再次证明，他还是中国最优秀的导演之一。
顿时有一种庄子亡妻鼓盆而歌的悲怆感，
真正的电影是，哪怕从头到尾就一场阵地战就那么几个人，都能让观众心悬着，悬到最后。

一个干净的故事，简单而饱满地演绎。不煽情，不啰嗦。点赞张导，他真的是品质的保障。
