The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 结局改的和音乐剧不太一样，有一个小细节：Evan找到了Connor的书单全部读了一遍，书单里有深夜小狗，我当时看这本书的时候就全程把Evan Hansen代入社恐小男主

导演和剪辑都给我去死啊，把我最喜欢的剧改成这样
期望越大失望越大。主演年龄的错位感其实不如预告里那么吓人。不过，为舞台撰写的劲歌金曲的独白，在空旷、人数极少的的舞台上所能产生的孤独感，和在电影实拍这种人声鼎沸熙熙攘攘中产生极大的矛盾。一下子把青少年自杀的困境变成一种固步自封的刻板古怪。
有一点接续上的瑕疵吧。但真的很不错的片子。特别是男主的演技真是太好了。一个小细节就是他刚拆了石膏没多久的时候，左手手臂还是会保持带着石膏时候的姿势。

其实没有刻意的煽情，但我依然哭得泪流成河，是哭到眼泪把口罩淹没，走出电影院时一言不发的程度。电影尚且如此，不敢想象如果去年音乐剧巡演没有因为疫情取消的话（毕竟当时连downtown剧院装修都已经进入DEH模式了），我会在剧院哭成怎样一种无法言述的惨状。希望早日能进剧场痛痛快快再哭一次。
