The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 完完全全是没看懂，就单纯喜欢大卫洛维的表达，美术、配乐等等，连节奏都很喜欢，一点儿没感觉是故弄玄虚。可见电影是个复杂的艺术形式，出路并不只有故事和角色两条。
观感近似于《银湖之底》，拆开来都巧妙得不行的设计，放一起就是显得无聊。
剧情大俗套中规中矩，可以看看小动物和美丽的景色

场景的布置、构图、调色和配乐都不错，情节也有一丝诡异、邪典的味道，如果把情节压制到90分钟，本片一定能成为我非常爱的电影，但本片的节奏真的奇慢无比，许多镜头也故弄深沉。
