The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 打着赘婿的牌面，炒冷饭又是把现代元素乱加入，败家子一下成主角变化的有点乱套和不习惯！我就想搞清楚一点：女主角也是穿越过去的吗？
七夕还蛮适合看这部片子的，和男朋友看完，一起讨论了一下，感觉四星半有了，半星扣在有些画面看着不够高级。
史上最放肆恶魔，直接上演“驱神”仪式。挺适合放在supernatural作为剧集。
竟然还出了个吉吉国王的番外电影？败家子的自我认知和自我提升，建议归入另类商战片。
赘婿番外，还不错吧；买几个橘子的梗哈哈哈朱自清的《背影》；又吃女性独立话题…没啥新意，迎合市场？
俗套的爽剧，还是炒电视剧那些陈旧梗，看着浪费时间。
幽默也有，只是看过赘婿再看这个，新意少了很多。当然，下饭剧还是很好，甚至想看番外，大马猴和小汤圆能演40集也可以看得下去。
有一点诚意的，团圆结局也想象的到，中间桥段延续了第一部电视剧内诙谐的核，值三星
反向驱魔可以的，牧师和恶魔做交易也可以的，就是丧尸片有点过分了，这个说实话体量有点小。不过难得最近还有个驱魔片，还行

嗯 苏文兴就算是离家创业，无能这个人设也丝毫没有改变，靠着高甜才能做起来，而且方法上和剧版比没有太多新意，不过是男女方换一下位置。简单看一下吧。
1，作为一个网剧番外，并没有拉出跟正剧的区别，整个就是网剧加长版。2，很显然的是为网剧预热的，但是玩的还是那一套，参考李尸朝鲜，网剧预热的及格线。3，一点电影感都没有。
挺好笑的，就是道具和服装上感觉经费有限，导演节奏把控得不错，多少分钟到什么戏稳稳的，结尾有点仓促让人意犹未尽。苏文兴给高甜银票让高甜保密那一段，两位主演都不错，张力十足，非常戳到我，是我心里的高光片段了
反向驱魔，魔鬼的使徒把上帝从神父体内驱逐。。。这种操作还挺有趣的，只是电影的执行力太普通了，单纯的驱魔题材好像也很难让人提起兴趣
神父和恶魔的较量就是比赛谁更会骂街，吧啦吧啦吧啦吧啦语速快嗓门大就赢了
7分，挺逗的，最近没什么时间看电影，抽空看着就图一乐。。
算是承接第一部和第二部的一个衍生电影，完成度不错。
什么玩意儿啊，无厘头也不能这样搞，朱自清的橘子梗都来了……
