A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

为了更加准确地评价这部电影，我特意阅读了近100条短评，3条长评，3个解说视频。首先必须承认我的观影体验并不好，甚至有一些痛苦，信息的大量过载超出了我大脑的认知能力，同时文化隔阂以及似懂非懂的剧情也在挑战着我的耐心，再加上超过2个小时的片长，熬夜观看更是一种煎熬，但是看完大量尤其是视频解析后同样要承认电影的独特价值的。当然8.8分的开分以及可能被引进的谣言确实给予了我错误的期待，但是当通过视频了解到电影所承载的各种内容细节后，还是非常佩服主创们丰富的想象力和超强的表现力的，尤其是对于存在主义、虚无主义的探讨是让我所感兴趣的，现实生活是混乱的交织，而那些愚蠢的东西正是重点。另外，虽然电影评价本身私人的，自由的，但是看了不少人的短评，感觉完全是基于一种非常模糊的认知在撰写，其表达逻辑并不通顺。
屎一样的美式政治正确，女同，肥胖，华裔，夹杂着恶俗的黄色段子，最后莫名其妙的爱与救赎。
pps：小概率无厘头随机事件可以引发宇宙精神穿越，绝了。
非常好玩，可是当代的家庭关系之难也够让人锥心。正能量解决方案太不动脑子了，懒！
显而易见，不是多重宇宙，而是多重类型电影。虽然没什么意义，但又是一部让我感受到深处彩蛋与戏仿文化占据主要位置的时代的电影，《头号玩家》如是，《新蝙蝠侠》也如是。这么一想，进入西部片（而非真正的西部世界）的《回到未来3》总算回到了属于它的未来。
【A】表面新奇，实则陈旧，最终质朴的多元宇宙。又或者说，「多元宇宙」早已不是什么值得被吹捧崇拜的新概念，在众多作品里被呈现、改写、戏谑、重演，曾经代表一切可能的词语如今早已化作单一发展的固有套路。正如大伙预料的那样，枯燥生活中由单一选择变动所引发的无限可能，最终仍受现实景观和设定堆叠的约束，在虚无主义和家庭关系间摇摆不定，也让其叫嚣的无限可能性成了空想。但节奏不会委曲求全，一切癫狂、重口且嚣张的匹配剪辑便是为此而存在，某种程度上拯救了不断趋于俗套的电影，真正赋予其疯狂的语境。Z世代已无需通过电影来习得那些和稀泥式的生活哲理，那观看意义又何在？或许身处银幕的延伸、动作的承接与岩石的碰撞之间，观众可以在那些主流价值观的裂痕里挖掘出无法言说的能量，并创造出真正能由自我定义的多元宇宙。
4、感情描写：我个人看来非常真实而且有说服力
只有中国式家庭会如此纠结憎恶羞耻于子女是同性恋？anyway，全片最爱的就是那两块安静的石头。
broken English，功夫，长辈对晚辈不切实际的要求和期待。为什么2022年了亚裔电影里还是这些元素啊？我想看别的了！！另外，恶趣味一点不有趣，只有恶心！！画面令人晕眩，像做了两个小时的过山车。如果这是AAPI representation, I don’t wanna be represented! 平行宇宙的东西我更喜欢看《降临》那样的！！
可能只有香蕉人会感动，毕竟伟大的白人眼里终于有他们了。
观整部电影剧情，导演的才华肉眼可见快溢出屏幕了。不过cult film嘛，就是不知道大众能否接受这么怪又新的东西横空出世。
以我浅薄的知识很难概括这到底应该是一部什么样的影片，但无论画面或者剧情都让我感到了极大的震撼。在诸多荒诞的近乎低俗的表现下，我看到了一个庞大深刻，牵动人生与生命的立意。甚至我觉得每个人看来，这个立意或许都会有所不同，但如果你能感受到，那么便毋庸置疑这部影片的伟大。受困于自身的知识与阅历，或许最后我能感受到与总结出的，依旧是诸如爱与宽容这样的词汇。但在这些看似陈词滥调的表述后，无疑，我真正完成了一次，或许看似可笑的思考与自我和解。
3、创新：绝对有，把已经玩烂的平行宇宙写出花了
她的丈夫还是以前的丈夫，她的女儿还是以前的女儿，她的生活还是以前的生活。
亲情中矛盾的和解可不可以好好儿讲故事来表达啊，整这些花里胡哨的干嘛，都做石头了还追着女儿跑，我只希望天底下的女人都能做自己而不是妈妈和妻子。
影片有着瑞克和莫蒂式的天马行空打底构想，功夫类型作为动作戏份过瘾，成人化的幽默作为强势添加剂，内核则讲述家庭关系的沟通和理解。

我也喜欢用脚触碰爱人的感觉，原来我属于热狗手指星球
人物的情感动机和行为逻辑都是垮掉的，支撑电影的是一地碎成渣的屎尿屁无厘头和炫酷特效，完全是好莱坞工业走到尽头的样子
