The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 东京爱情故事。生活在一座遍地是悲伤的城市，太阳照常升起。
从导演角度来说，景别极其尴尬。摄影一股廉价的棚味儿，下雨那场内景简直了，很难让人信服。
观影中，突然又想起“恋人们”中的一幕，中年骗子和中年主妇事后，主妇裸着上身，男人伸手揉捏主妇的乳房，主妇有点羞涩，男人看都不看主妇一眼，他的揉捏不带一丝感情，甚至也感受不到情欲，主妇慢慢变的麻木。那个场景震撼了我，这几年时不时会想起。
如果我也度过了很棒的一天，会很想被困在那一天。
进门的时候，还被我当成了路人……
观影过程一直带着问号，这电影到底想讲什么呢？然后中间睡着了……我发现我真的是脸盲症患者，男主的女友我都分不清是同一个人还是不同的人？ 倒是有句台词记住了：这世上80%的人是垃圾。那剩下的20%呢？是人渣。

没有融入到情绪里，倒叙的线索，男主前后的反差还蛮明显的。
