我不相信救赎，但看着你抚育你这样的孩子让我觉得生命有意义。大概就是这么个意思吧。剧情不复杂，脉络清晰，不拖泥带水。唯一的不足是缺乏张力来弥补稍显单一的剧情。

非常现代的西部片拍法，那种现代社会对老西部的迷之憧憬挥散不去，反应到电影里最具象化的表现就是儿子和父亲的矛盾冲突了。不过拍法虽然是现代西部，但依旧没有创新，甚至连构图都和近几年的西部片无差。比利小子的梗玩到现在。
